Herbie Virgin
The Danish producer of the famed Herbie Gin has taken the blod move of introducing an alcohol-free Gin under its own brand name. To the makers of Herbie gin, taste and fragrence have always been the most important characteristics of their gin, while the effect of the alcohol is secondary. It was therefore only natural to develop an Herbie Gin without alcohol. Herbie Virgin is produced in the Northern region of Denmark where botanicals and water from the distillery’s own well are hand distilled in small copper pots. By distilling they can extract maximum taste from the botanicals and the result is a completely new type of product with no alcohol at all. In contrast to, for example, Seedlip, the Herbie Virgin contains juniper, which normally gives gin its characteristic flavor.
