Adam Trautwein is a third-generation family run company located in Rheinhessen/Germany. Adam Trautwein, the grandfather of the current proprietor, established the winery back in 1920. Wolfgang Trautwein took over the company after the death of his father Wilhelm in 1989. The young entrepreneur systematically expanded and modernized the firm. He invested in an innovative grape reception and modern presses, in the latest winery technology, in the company´s own water treatment plant and in modern storehouses. He and his 40 members of staff are constantly striving for innovation and improvement of quality. Since 2014 the company owns a modern winery in the south of Hungary.
